CR Project Solutions helped to turn our of hopes of a new home into a reality. After years of debate over how we could achieve the renovations we wanted to make to our house, within a very set budget, we decided the best way forward was to work with a project manager.

From initial concept, throughout the build phase, to the finishing touches, Colin has been there at every step offering no nonsense guidance with good humour, and advice on how to make the most out of our money while ensuring only the highest quality trades were used on the project. His honest approach to what was and was not possible, and how this worked with the architect, ensured he managed our expectations, so that we had plans created to our needs and budget.

The aim of the project was to totally redesign the layout and use of the ground floor, build a front extension, off road parking and to renovate the entire house – plus, of course, the odd additional extra. While not the biggest build project, it is a substantial change to the 1960’s semi-detached property that will ensure it works better for us as a home and brings it totally up to date for modern family living.

Colin has taken care of every aspect of the project, including the entire planning process, design with his partner architect firm and sourcing the right trades, materials and people to work with who have taken as much care over the work as Colin has in his management of the project. Colin makes regular visits to the project, guaranteeing the trades are cracking on and completing work to his high standards. He is also in regular contact with us to ensure we are happy at every step, and to adapt plans where necessary when we hit an unforeseen bump in the road. Any issues have been immediately dealt with, by a single phone call and this has given us total reassurance in what has been a relatively stress free and straight forward project.
